Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reading and understanding of basic blueprints and/or shop drawings.

  • Layout basic Geometric shapes within Tolerance.

  • Use and provide maintenance for basic power and hand tools.

  • Use of overhead crane and forklift.

  • Cut/shape Acrylic to specifications.

  • Dry fit Acrylic Parts to be assembled to bonding tolerances.

Required Skills for a Reynolds Polymer Lead Fabricator

  • Strong background in Woodworking, Finish Framing, or Construction

  • Experience as a General Contractor a plus.

  • Must be able to lead as a role model and guide all Fabrication Techs, as well as provide supervision when needed.

  • Must have ability to comprehend production schedules and the work flow in the Factory/Assembly Line/Work Environment.

  • Must be able to communicate closely with co-workers and supervisors regarding work related items.

  • Must be a team player with a good work ethic.

  • Must be a self-starter.

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week and overtime depending on production schedules.

  • Must have flexible schedule due to changes with short notice.

  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

  • Must be able to work kneeling down, bending over, and at elevated heights.

  • Must be able to work in tight, small quarters.

  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

  • Must be able to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
